Port Blair, Mar 26: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Secretary (Civil Supply & Consumers Affairs) A&N Administration to issue necessary directives to the authorised LPG distributor to make immediate arrangements for supply and distribute LPG cylinders to the consumers at Little Andaman Tehsil as there is no supply and distribution of LPG cylinders to the consumers in the Little Andaman Tehsil since last 3 (three) months and the stock of LPG available with them have been completely exhausted and due to which the LPG consumes are facing tremendous difficulties for cooking of their daily food. He said that as per norms, 12 LPG cylinders per year are entitled by a consumer, whereas only 07 LPG cylinders were provided to the them in Little Andaman so far. He also further insisted to ensure timely supply and distribution of LPG Cylinders in Little Andaman Tehsil as per their entitlement in future also.
