Port Blair, Mar 13: Mr Vishal Jolly, Former State President-BJP & Home Ministry’s Advisory Committee Member, met the Principal of JNRM recently. He discussed relating to providing Hostel facilities for all needy students, especially for the students hailing from inter-islands. Mr Jolly suggested that until the construction of new Hostel buildings for boys and girls, possibility of making necessary stop-gap arrangements be made to execute MOU with any other entity.
Installation of RO for providing clean drinking water to all students, providing of sufficient good & healthy food to the students residing in Hostels, recruitment of permanent faculty members for all departments and review of the proposal of Deemed University and building/constituting a Central University instead were also discussed during the meeting. Mr Vishal Jolly was assured that the issues would be taken up and dealt with at the appropriate level.
