Port Blair, Mar 12: NCC Cadets of these Islands cleaned statues of freedom fighters viz Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Pandit Ram Rakha, Baba Bhan Singh, Indu Bhushan Roy and Mahavir Singh, located in front of Cellular Jail, Port Blair , under the supervision of PI Staff, ANO and Care Takers of both NCC Units. Capt (IN) V K Trivedi, CO I AN NUNCC and Lt Col A Vivekanda, CO 1 AN Indep Inf Coy motivated the cadets to continue these efforts through out the year and not as ‘one time measure’ only.
