Port Blair, Mar 12: A three days training programme on “ Disaster Management & Disaster Preparedness” in Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue and Medical First Responders (CSSR & MFR) with due adherence to COVID-19 protocols was organized from 09/03/2021 to 11/03/2021 in the Conference Hall SP (D) South Andaman office. The training programme is aimed at Capacity building of various Stakeholders in Disaster Management including Police personnel. It sensitizes the participants about the various preventive and post disaster techniques that are required to be undertaken in the event of any disaster.
Altogether, 29 personnel from various departments of A&NI Administration participated in the training programme. The next training programme in this regard would begin in the month of April.
