Port Blair, Mar 08: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to fix the circle rate of land for Minnie Bay revenue circle which is not yet fixed as the same is not appeared in the circle rate order notified by the Administration on 22nd October, 2019.
He informed that the A&N Administrative has fixed circle rate for per square meter of lands of different villages of South Andaman, N&M Andaman and Campbell Bay in Nicobar District which was notified on 22nd October, 2019. However, the circle rate for the lands under the jurisdiction of Minnie Bay revenue village which covers Dairy Farm, School Line etc is not appeared in the common order dated 22nd October, 2019 and not fixed so far. In absence of fixation of circle rate for Minnie Bay village, the recorded tenants who wish to transfer of interest of land and immovable property by way of conveyance, gift exchange etc are unable to do so. Therefore he requested the Administration to fix the circle rate for the lands come under Minnie Bay revenue in the line of circle rate notified for other revenue villages.
