Port Blair, Feb 18: A three member team of UGC’s National Assessment and Accreditation Council arrived today morning at MGG College Mayabunder for an Assessment of the higher educational standard and quality. This assessment shall be continued for 2days i.e. from 18.2.21 to 19.2.21.
The team consist of NAAC Chairman Dr. Adya Prasad Panday, Ex Vice Chancellor, Manipur University and Ex Vice Chancellor of BHU,Prof.Balagovinda Hariharan,NAAC Member Coordinator from Kerala University and Dr.Sudhkar Lahupachang NAAC member from Navi Mumbai.
Dr.B.PrabhuramPrincipal, faculties and students welcomed the guest by extending buque. Thereafter the NAAC Team garlanded on the statue of Gandhiji. The Principal present the power point before the members ,he very extensively highlighted every aspects of the college followed by the all HOD’s explained their respective Departments activities and achievement’s point by point.
Dr.Angel Bhati Chauhan,IAS,DC,NMA also arrived at MGG College and meet with the UGC’s NAAC Peer Team. In the evening at 3.15PM the team held a meeting with college alumni and their parents in several issues. Today’s activities shall be concluded with a colourful cultural function in the evening at it auditorium by the students of the College.
