Port Blair, Feb 17: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands extended his gratitude and thanks to the Police Department for taking stringent action against drug peddler by freezing bank accounts and seizing 4 vehicles. This action of the Police will send a strong message to other drug peddlers as well as a positive message to the society at large. Mr. Sharma has always advocated and worked against drug abuse.
He said that the Island can and have recovered from big challenges and disasters but drugs is much bigger than any disaster or pandemic. It will be difficult to recover our future generation from the damage caused by drugs. Mr. Sharma also said that he has always aspired for brighter future of Youths of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and with people’s cooperation with the Police, crime rate will certainly come down drastically.
