Port Blair, Feb 15: It is brought to the notice of Secretary (Education) by the UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights that, Students of various classes were asked to attend their respective schools for attending classes inspite of the fact that the pandemic is still going on and active cases are still recorded which is serious concern. It is known fact that during the height of Pandemic which led to number of Nationwide Lockdowns and containment zones, Education Sector used to conduct their classes through online mode, which proved very successful in keeping students sticked to their education goals.
Therefore the UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights request to the Secretary (Education) to please look into the issue and do the needful by conducting Online Examination only for Classes 1st to 8th until Vaccination drive is completed as the age group of mentioned classes shall be taken care and kept safe with utmost priority.
