Port Blair, Feb 11: Two serious patients have been evacuated from Campbell Bay this afternoon, by Pawan Hans Helicopter.
According to details in a SUV accident, which took place after midnight yesterday, two people sustained serious injuries, one of the victims is Junior Engineer of APWD while the other patient is also reportedly working in APWD.
As per details there were four people inside the SUV which overturned after hitting a cow, which came on the middle of the road. Two other passengers inside the SUV however, survived without any major injuries.
The helicopter carrying the patients reportedly reached Port Blair at around 2.00 PM and soon they were admitted in G B Pant Hospital for specialist care. Further details from Campbell Bay are awaited.
