Port Blair, Jan 24: On Parakram Divas, the Nehru Yuva Kendra paid floral tribute to Netaji on the statue of Netaji located in Marina Park. A rally was also organized in the program. Apart from this, at Elite Computer Solutions, Doligunj, another programme also organised with garlanded the portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. On the occasion other guest and participants also paid tribute to Netaji. NYK also organised another event at ANCOL, Port Blair. All programs started with national song and the portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was also garlanded, further the Fit India Pad Yatra was also done.
The main objective of this program is to create awareness on the life, works, journey and philosophy of Netaji Subhash Chandra Ji. Netaji and Fit India will be celebrated throughout the year for inspiration, foster sense of discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership among youth, and motivation to promote physical fitness as a way of healthy lifestyle.
In this programs, on Life, Journey, Philosophy and Works of Netaji, all youths have also been addressed by Muhammad Tariq Shah, District Youth Officer, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Port Blair and Shri Gopal Chandra Biswas, Accounts and Program Assistant of NYK. Further, various programs will be organizing by NYK till 23rd January 2022 in the name of celebration Prakram Diwas.
