Port Blair, Oct 15: The poor condition of the Mahaveer Nagar, New Housing Colony Road at Prothrapur village has irked the residents who have complained about the immense hardship they have to go through on account of the deplorable road condition.
Expressing its deep concern while talking to Andaman Sheekha resident of the Housing Colony said the pathetic condition of the roads have brought about endless miseries to the residents of the area.
While alleging negligence on part of the concerned authorities in repairing the road the residents alleged that the said road was not repaired since last seven years. Resident alleged that there is no drainage system, which makes things difficult during heavy rain.
Photographs taken by Andaman Sheekha shows how pathetic the condition of the said road is. Hope the concerned authority will wake up soon and take early steps to repair the road.
