Port Blair, Jan 21: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Chief General Manager, A&N Telecom Circle, Port Blair to made operational after installing the required instruments at BSNL tower erected at Rajath Garh, Baratang which was built more than a year ago for providing mobile connectivity to uncovered villages around the Rajath Garh i.e. Khatta Khari, Jarawa Creek, Baludera, Beach Dera etc in Baratang and due to delay the villagers are still deprived from getting connectivity for various services including online classes.
He also further requested that the battery backup system to BSNL tower at Nilambur jetty in Baratang which is also frequently out of order during load shedding, may also be got rectified to avoid networking problems in Baratnag during power disruption.
