Port Blair, Jan 07: While the Andaman and Nicobar police has started investigation of suspected murder case of a lady of Calicut region, after her body was found yesterday morning near her house, the delay in getting Post Mortem report has left many questions unanswered.
Questions like cause of death, time of murder etc will be confirmed only after getting a post mortem report, it is believed.
Meanwhile, according to villagers, police suspects that the victim might have been murdered by strangulation with the help of rope or similar object.
It is also learnt from unconfirmed sources that a few people have been picked up by the police team for interrogation, which is a standard procedure in such cases. Till now no officials details have been provided by Andaman and Nicobar Police in this regard.
