Port Blair, Dec 22: Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands today called upon Mr. Satyendra K Garg, Director General of Police, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mr. Satyendra Garg has taken over as the DGP of Andaman and Nicobar Islands recently and Mr. Ajoy Bairagi visited him for a courtesy call. The dignitaries spoke on policing in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mr. Ajoy Bairagi also apprised the DGP of the friendly relations between the police and the general public in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and highlighted the importance of maintaining such a relationship.
Mr. Ajoy Bairagi also conveyed his best wishes to Mr. Satyendra Garg for his tenure as the DGP of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
