Port Blair, Dec 14: The A & N Police Fire Service has been conducting Fire Safety audit of all Govt./Private schools from time to time to ensure fire safety in Schools. The School authorities were requested to assist the inspecting officer of A & N Police Fire Service is organising training classes, mock drill etc. of teachers, students etc. to handle and to meet any emergency. In this connection, in two schools namely RGT Public School & Gurukul English Medium School fire safety drills were conducted recently. A total of 26 Nos. of teachers & 30 Nos. of senior students participated to learnt how to handle the fire emergency situation. This exercise would be conducted in all schools.
