Mayabunder, Dec 13: The District Legal Authority, Andaman & Nicobar Islands in association with Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee, Mayabunder organized National Lok Adalat in the District Court Complex, Mayabunder and Circuit Court Building at Diglipur, Kalra junction.
The Bench Members of the said National Lok Adalat at Circuit Court Diglipur comprised of Mr. Jimut Bahan Biswas, Additional District & Session Judge, North & Middle Andaman Mayabunder as Chairman, Smt. Bulbul Mistry, Ex- Pradhan, Sitapur Gram Panchayat, and Mr. Biswajit Mandal, Advocate, Bar Association, Mayabunder as members.
Total 17 cases including criminal compoundable, cases under the N.I Act, as well as petty cases under M.V act and Excise regulations were placed before the National Lok Adalat Diglipur Bench for disposal upon consensual settlements between the parties. Total fine amount of Rs. 12,700/- ( Rupees Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred only) imposed and realized in the cases under the sections of M.V act and Excise Regulations
The Bench Members of the said National Lok Adalat at Mayabunder comprised of Mr. Vikramjit Sen, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Mayabunder as Chairman, Smt. Naw Sevaiah, Ex- Pradhan, Rampur Gram Panchayat, and Smti. Banani Biswas, Advocate, Bar Association, Mayabunder as members.
Total 33 cases including cases under the N.I Act, Civil Sutis as well as petty cases under M.V act and Excise regulations were placed before the National Lok Adalat Mayabunder Bench for disposal upon consensual settlements between the parties. Total fine amount of Rs. 15,300/- ( Rupees Fifteen Thousand Three Hundred only) imposed and realized in the cases under the sections of M.V act and Excise Regulations
