Port Blair, Dec 11: In connection to a NDPS case, which was registered on 26 October 2020 at PS CSS, the team of CCS has now arrested the main accused of the case from Kolkata.
As per details, earlier a team of four police personnel from PS CCS, headed by Sub Inspector Biswajit Prasad was sent to Koltata to arrest the main accused, Mr. Shantanu Jana. After the arrest of the main accused, he was brought today to Port Blair and was produced to court, from where he was sent to Judicial Custody.
The team was formed under leadership of SHO PS CCS, Inspector Mahesh Yadav and under overall supervision of DySP (CID) and SP (CID).
