Port Blair, Dec 06: As part of the “Prashasan Aapke Dwaar” initiative under the aegis of the District Administration, South Andaman, revenue camp court was conducted by Mr. Yash Chaudhary, IAS, Additional District Magistrate. Mr. Hari Kallikkat, IAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Assistant Commissioner (SA), Mr. Prem Singh Meena, AC(S) and Mr. Lakshay Singhal, IAS (P) and other officials of the Revenue Department and line departments at Community Hall, Sippighat.
Ex-PRI members and villagers attended the camp and highlighted some of the major issues viz., water supply, bad condition of the road leading from teylorabad to Bimblitan. Further many revenue matters were taken up for consideration and appropriate instructions were passed on to the revenue field staff.
The residents were assured that the issues related water supply and condition of the road will be taken up with concerned line departments to ensure quick redressal.
During the camp court land development permission to the extent of 500 sq mtrs was granted to some of the villagers and 03 nos. of mutation cases were also disposed off by the Tehsildar, Port Blair and the same were handed over to the parties concerned on the spot. The gathering was informed that the revenue field staff are fully committed to serve the general public and as such issues, if any may be brought immediately to the notice of the District Administration for its redressal at the earliest.
The Ex-PRI members thanked the District Administration for organising such revenue camp at the grass root level and its efforts to address the core issues.
The revenue field staff were asked to follow up on all the matters those were placed before the Revenue Camp Court.
