Port Blair, Dec 04: The Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Govt. of India has launched PM Street Vendor’s Atma Nirbhar Nidhi ( PM SVANidhi) to facilitate micro credit loan upto Rs. 10,000 to the street vendors so that they can start their business which was adversely affected during the lock down imposed to check spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
The eligibility creeria to get benefit under PM SVANidhi is as under :-
a) He/She age shall not less than 14 years.
b) He/She is having no other means of livelihood.
c) He/She is a vendor on or before 24th March 2020
The Port Blair Municipal Council will conduct a special camp receive applications from the eligible street vendors for receiving benefits of PM SVANidhi scheme as per the below mentioned scheduled.
