Port Blair, Dec 01: Under the close supervision of SP North and Middle Andaman, Traffic In charge HQ Mayabunder conducted a massive awareness drive regarding Covid-19 infection and Traffic Awareness program among the vehicle operators and drivers.
This program started from 24th Nov 2020 from Diglipur and today police team reached at PS Billyground area and the drive will complete at Baratang area on 8th December 2020.
During this massive campaign the Traffic incharge NMA very categorically explained the vehicle drivers and owner that how the spread of Covid infection can be contained. He specifically demonstrated that how a vehicle is disinfected by spraying the sanitizers on the vehicles and how to sensitize the passengers.
Besides these, the officer explained in detail about the traffic rules and its importance to avoid accidents.
The vehicle associations, drivers and operators praised the SP NMA and Traffic Incharge, HQ, Mayabunder, NMA for organizing such vital campaign for public awareness.
