Port Blair, Nov 18: The Kesariya Hindu Vahini and Hindu Sewa Sangh has extended greetings and good wishes to islanders celebrating Chhath Puja. The Chhath Puja is the only festival that is dedicated to the Lord Surya, who is supposed to be the source of all powers. “May the occasion of Chhath Puja light up new hopes and opportunities in islander life and fulfill all dreams. We request islander to perform other rituals in their respective houses, avoiding mass gatherings and adhering to the COVID-19 safety protocols such as physical distancing, mask wearing and hand washing,” a release from KHV & HSS said here today.
