Port Blair, Nov 12: Andaman & Nicobar UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights is functioning in these Islands with a mandate to safeguard child rights and to take up programmes for disseminating information on child Rights and their Protection.
In this regard the Commission proposes to celebrate the International Child Rights Day by way of conducting following activities for the Children through online mode.
1) Poem writing contest on “My Rights As A Child” for Students of Class X to XII Maximum word Count 100.
The Poem to be handwritten by the Student himself/herself in Hindi or English and a clear picture taken to be sent by whatsapp to both the numbers 9434260984 and 9679599887
2)Drawing and Painting on the Theme ‘Back to School after Covid-19 ‘ For upto Class V Students. To be done on an A4 sheet
The Painting to be handdrawn by the Student himself/herself and a clear picture taken to be sent by whatsapp to both the numbers 9434281893 and 9679599887
3)Short Speech of upto 2 minutes. “My Experiences at Home during the Lockdown period of pandemic 19” For Students of Class VI to IX.
The Short Speech to be delivered by the student himself/ herself in Hindi or English and a recorded video of the same sent on the whatsapp to both numbers 9932082892 and 9679599887
This is an endeavour of A&NUTCPCR and we invite and encourage all students of the islands to come forward and participate.
A panel of Eminent Judges would evaluate the entries and prizes with Appreciation Certificates would be awarded to the First Three Winners in each category .
