Port Blair, Nov 06: The District Administration has learnt that due to shortage of Non Judicial stamp papers of lower denomination in the District Treasury, general public is falling prey to brokers/ middlemen and are being forced to spend their hard earned money on bond papers of higher denomination for swearing in affidavits and related purposes.
As such now it has been informed by district Administration that henceforth court fee stamps of equal amount can be used for swearing in affidavits for all purposes. The fresh lot of Non Judicial stamp papers of lower denomination is expected to arrive shortly.
