Little Andaman, October 28: Poor Internet connectivity is hampering online education for the students of Little Andaman Island. College students allege that they are unable to download the notes provided online because of poor internet connection in the region.
According to the students, they cannot spend every day at Internet cafes, “even in the internet cafe the internet connection is slow most of the time,” said a college student.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, a student of Little Andaman Island said that the promises of providing the Island with 3G facilities from 15th August 2020 seems to be a lie as they still receive the 2G facilities.
“Let it be RK Pur or Hut Bay. The poor internet is the same everywhere,” said another student.
Hopefully, BSNL will take the problem of the residents of the Islands into cognizance and solve the internet issues of Little Andaman soon.
