Port Blair, Oct 21: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Secretary (Social Welfare), A&N Administration for timely disbursement of Pension/Allowances to the Old age, Widows, Destitute and Divyanjan persons who did not receive their entitled pension/allowance since last 5 to 6 months and in absence of receipt of pension, they are unable to procure their day to day requirements and depending on others.
So he requested the Secretary (SW) to issue specific direction to the concerned authorities to ensure for timely disbursement of their pension/allowances in every month.
