Port Blair, Oct 18: On the eve of Navaratri, the auspicious festival in Sanatan Dharma that spans nine nights (and ten days) and is celebrated every year. The last five days of Navratri mark the popular practices during Durga Puja. Mr. Y Joga Rao, Social Worker of Dairy Farm volunteered to sanitize the religious places and supplied sanitizers.
As of today sanitization of three temples i.e 1) Ram Mandir, Prothrapur 2) Ganesh Mandir, Bathubasti and 3) Om Shiva Ganesh Mandir, Atam Pahad was undertaken, the committee members of the temple expressed their gratitude to Keshariya Hindu Vahini and assured to follow all the safety procedures.
