Mayabunder, October 11: The authorities of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation, Mayabunder region, have assured that the road construction work in the region will start soon after the rain ends, informed Mr. Abdul Siddique, a senior political leader of Mayabunder.
According to Mr. Abdul Siddique people of Mayabunder region are suffering heavily due to the bad roads in many parts of Mayabunder.
As per Mr. Siddique, he is continuously following up with the authorities of NACD and NHIDCL. “I was told by the Junior Engineers of NACD and NHIDCL respectively on 07/10/2020 that the delay to start the road work is because of the heavy rain in the region,” said Mr. Siddique.
He added that the authorities have assured him that once the rain ends in the region, the road construction work of Nimtala road from R.P.Hospital to tri-junction to the old fire station and the repair of the main road from the helipad to Ganesh Tikrey will commence, immediately once the weather gets cleared and rains stop.
