Port Blair, October 04: Several registered Cultural Organizations of Andaman and Nicobar Islands especially the associations that are based out of Port Blair are demanding an extension of 15 days for submitting financial assistance forms.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, Mr. Sudhir Biswas, General Secretary, Andaman Sankritik Parishad said that as their organization is not based in Port Blair, they couldn’t submit the form within 30th September 2020 for several reasons.
“Unlike our organization, there are several other organizations that are yet to submit the form, hence, looking at the constraints occurred due to the pandemic, it is requested to the administration to consider our plea of extending the time,” said Mr. Biswas.
