Port Blair, September 29: On 28th September afternoon around 4:00PM an accident was reported in PS Pahargaon wherein a 22 year old boy, resident of Buniyadabad went out with his friend on a two-wheeler ride around 4:00PM and was hit by a car.
As per the sources, the duo met with the accident while crossing Kodiyaghat Mosque, when a red colored private car coming from Chidiyatapu in a high Speed Dashed them.
The impact was so deadly that both the rider and pillion rider fell down and sustained multiple grievous injuries but the private car reportedly did not stop and escaped from the scene. Some nearby public helped them to reach GB Pant Hospital. Later the police team of Pahargaon PS identified the car driver namely Rajesh Kumar, 29 years, a resident of Garacharma and arrested him.
