Port Blair, Sept 30: UNNATI is observing October as breast cancer awareness programme on 01.10.2012 at 1.30 p.m at UNNATI’s Food Processing training centre Dollygunj in which UNNATI’s Volunteers from South Andaman will participate.
In the programme besides awaring women about the facts of cancer the volunteers of UNNATI will also be trained by Dr. Ritika about the method of self examination by women themselves which is an easy way to detect any breast changes/ breast cancer in early stage. The trained volunteers after training will further train rural women about the method of self examination.
