
Port Blair, August 30: Akhil Bharatiya Acharya Ramchandra Shukla Awards has been awarded to Dr.Vyas Mani Tripathy, who has been an associate professor in the Department of Hindi ,in Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya, Port Blair.
Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Academy, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal has awarded Dr. Tripathy with Rs. One lakh and Akhil Bharatiya Acharya Ramchandra Shukla Awards for his work on criticism on the book ‘Ratnakar’, Jagan Nath Das.
In past Dr. Tripathy had earned many more laurels in the field of Hindi language and literature. In the year 2015, he was presented the ‘Vishwa Hindi Samman’ award in the Tenth Anniversary of Vishwa Hindi Sammelan. In the year 2017, he was awarded with ‘Dr. Ram Vilas Sharma Sarjana ‘award of Uttar Pradesh organisation, government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. It is very prestigious that, Dr. Tripathy has been honoured with several other laurels for his outstanding work in Hindi language and literature.
He has been honoured with the Doctorate degree of literature and Vidhyavaridhi because of his distinguished contribution in Hindi language and literature.
It is to commemorate here that, till now twenty six books written by Dr. Vyas Mani Tripathy along with his many poems, write-ups and stories , has been published in esteemed national papers. Moreover he has given his contribution in another thirty books. It is a privilege and pride for all the people of Andamans to have Dr. Vyas Mani Tripathy as a representative of this heritage.
