Mayabunder, August 06: The Adhyaksh, North, and Middle Andaman Zilla Parishad, Mr. Dipankar Mistry have requested the Lt Governor, Andaman, and the Nicobar Islands to either extend the last date for filing applications for admissions in colleges under Andaman and Nicobar administration or cancel the admission process till the pandemic is controlled in the Islands.
In a letter addressed to the Lt Governor, Mr. Mistry stated that Coronavirus is rising in the North and Middle Andaman and the network is still very poor in the District.
Due to the lockdown almost all the shops including the CSC centers and ATR are closed as a result of which candidates can neither apply through online nor they can reach the South Andaman District to submit their application in person at the colleges.
