`Port Blair, Aug 04: In order to effectively implement the earlier order of Deputy Commissioner for restriction of movement from 4th August Midnight to 11 August, the transport restrictions has impose some restrictions in the Port Blair and Ferrargunj Tehsils under South Andaman District with effect from the midnight of 04.08.2020 till the midnight of 11.08.2020
As per these restrictions services of all Stage carriage buses (STS and Private) shall remain suspended during this period; Services of Passenger Autorickshaws, Taxis and Jeeps shall remain suspended during this period.
However, for the movement of employees working in the Departments involved in essential services for performing their duties, bus service would be provided by strictly following the safety protocols informed Dr. Navlendra Kumar Singh), Director (Transport), A & N Administration.
