Great Nicobar, August 02: The schools at the Nicobar will not open till the 31st August 2020 for the students, clarified the District Commissioner, Nicobar District, Mr. Kishore Kshirsagar Lakshman.
However, the DC Nicobar said that the studies won’t be affected as all the schools in the district are all set to arrange SMART classes for which the materials have been brought from Delhi.
When asked, what about the students who do not have SMART phones and proper networks in their area, the DC said that in coming days classes will be arranged for the students of 10th and 12th standard by following all social distancing norms.
The quality of education that will be provided will be up to the standards as all the materials are under check at Car Nicobar by professionals, once the materials are approved, those will be circulated via WhatsApp and other sharing applications.
