Great Nicobar, July 31: The Nicobar District Administration is trying hard to arrange a ventilators for all the Tehsils of Nicobar District, said the District Commissioner, Nicobar District, Mr. Kishore Kshirsagar Lakshman.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha at Campbell Bay, the DC Nicobar stated that as of now if there is an emergency, a standard protocol to evacuate such serious cases to GB Pant Hospital and Dhanvantri will be followed.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, the DC Nicobar confirmed that all the three Tehsils of Nicobar District have arranged the isolation wards for the COVID19 patients, and the District Administration is well aware on how to trace the contacts, the institutional quarantine centers have been prepared/set-up and PPE, medicine et cetera are well stocked,
“Training for all the departments on how to manage when any case pops up has been given,” the DC Nicobar added.
