Baratang, July 22: Immediate call was taken by the regional Doordarshan Unit to repair VLPT of Doordarshan Relay Center of the Baratang region after Andaman Sheekha on dated 09th July 2020 highlighted that several residents residing in the deep pockets of Baratang region are not receiving the Doordarshan channel due to the fault in the VLPT since more than a month.
As per reports, the channel was restored in those deep pockets of the Baratang region since 20th July 2020 bringing big comfort for the residents.
The Ex-Zilla Parishad member of the area Mr. G. Kurma Rao has expressed his gratitude towards the Director, Prasar Bharti, Port Blair, and he along with the sufferers have also expressed gratitude to Andaman Sheekha for highlighting the issue at the appropriate level.
