Port Blair, July 15: Keeping on mind the various emerging threats to Civil Aviation operation across the world through Chemical, Biological, and Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) the CISF Unit of Veer Savarkar International Airport organized a Mock Exercise at VSI Airport on Radiological Emergency today under the supervision of Deputy Commandant Mr. V B Dewangan (Chief Airport Security Officer) in coordination with Airport Authority of India and NDRF.
The main objective of the Exercise is to spread awareness among the CISF personnel engaged with security operations at VSI AIRPORT PORT BLAIR so that they remain prepared to actively deal with such contingency to minimize the risks of casualty in the real-time scenario.
