Port Blair, July 12: On receipt of credible information that one person is carrying huge quantity of IMFL bottles which was kept in a van in a concealed manner, Assistant Sub Inspector Raja, Incharge CID(N&M) alongwith Police constable Satnam Singh of CID Rangat intercepted one vehicle, bearing Reg no. AN01L8524, at Sabri Rangat and on searching of the vehicle, it was found that 128 nos. of IMFL bottles (50 nos.of 375 ml bottles & 78 nos. of 180 ml bottles) were kept in the 03 cardboard boxes, concealed in the vehicle. Accordingly, the accused was arrested and recovered IMFL bottles were handed over to I/c PS Rangat and the accused was booked under the relevant section of law at PS Rangat.
