Port Blair, July 06: PBMC has started online Building Plain Approval System (OBPAS) to bring transparency and accountability in the building plan approval system. OBPAS simplifies the procedures and streamline the processes so as to enhance “Ease of Doing Business in Construction Permits”. It is one of the mandate under ‘AMRUT Mission’.
The advantage of OBPAS is all building plans will be sanctioned/ approved within 15 days approximately. Since OBPAS has been stabilized, therefore it is informed that PBMC will not accept any Building Plan submitted manually for approval w.e.f. 15/07/2020.
Once again PBMC appeals to the concerned may please visit https://www.pbmc-obpas.com for submission of their applications online or contact Registered Architect/Engineer/Licensed Supervisor for consultation and uploading of building plan application on the website.
