Port Blair, June 26: The Chairperson of a reputed NGO Voice of Compassion of India, Rangat Middle Andaman, Mr. B. Devrajand and the NGO’s Vice Chairman A R Mandal today called on Mrs. Angel Bhati Chauhan, DC North and Middle Andaman
During their meeting the Chairperson very categorically explained before her about the NGO’s multi disciplinary functions which they have undertaken and how the organization is working for the welfare of women in the region. The Chairperson briefed about their functions and also about the role played by the NGO during this COVID19 pandemic.
He briefed that till date they have distributed more than 3 thousand face masks to different offices in the region and especially more than 2000 face masks and huge quantity of Hand sanitizers to the DC office staffs.
The Chairperson said that all face mask and hand sanitizers have been prepared by the women members of the organization. He said that multi disciplinary trainings are also providing to the women at its office at Rangat so that women can earn their livelihood by their own efforts, without depending on others.
Besides this, today the Chairperson again provided hand sanitizers to DC office so that those could be used for the visitors at DC Office.
The DC reportedly lauded the NGO for outstanding service they have been providing for public. The Chairperson Mr. B.Devraj said that the meeting with DC Madam was very fruitful.
