Port Blair, June 23: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, A&N Administration to allow 11 days time to update the membership of Consumers Cooperative Societies Ltd after exempting lockdown period from 19th to 31st March, 2020 as many members could not get renewal of their membership within given time of 31st March, 2020 as the lockdown for COVID-19 has been enforced in these Islands since 19th March, 2020. The MP requested to consider the same so that more and more members may get their membership updated.
