Port Blair, June 19: Just a day after two COVID19 cases turned negative and the number of total active cases came down to 10 from 12, today two more people were tested COVID19 positive, with which the total number has now climbed to 12 once again.
The Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration today informed about these two cases.
“2 more +ve. One is wife of existing +ve. Other has traveled. 12 active. Vigil & Precautions: only way,” the Chief Secretary mentioned in his tweet.
Talking to a section of media Dr. Avijit Roy said that both the new cases are absolutely healthy and they don’t have any symptoms.
“Contract tracing for all COVID19 cases found in Police Department has been completed. The results of test on these contacts are coming out in phases,” Dr. Roy added.
