Port Blair, June 16: The Up-Adhyaksh, N & M Andaman Zilla Parishad, Mr. Alager Swami has demanded ATR Express Bus service for Baratang Islands.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha Mr. Alager Swami today said that Express Bus service for almost all areas of North and Middle Andaman has already started but the same service was not extended in Baratang region till now.
He said that due to lack of exclusive express bus service, it has become too difficult for people of Baratang to get Express Bus Ticket for the region.
He said that in this regard he has already spoke to the Director of Transport Dr. Navlendra Singh, who was reportedly kind enough to assured that the ATR Express bus service for Baratang will be resumed soon.
