Port Blair, June 12: Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), the Lt Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency, alongwith Mr. Chetan B. Sanghi, Chief Secretary and Mr. K.R. Meena, Pr. Secretary (Home/Health) attended the Video conference taken by Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India and Mr. Amit Shah, the Home Minister with Central Ministers and CMs of States/UTs. The present status and safety protocol implementation against COVID-19 in the Islands were reported in detail to the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Resumption of various development projects, infrastructure, tourism and IDA projects in the Islands were also detailed during the conference.
