Port Blair, May 10: Pochishe Boishak 1427 (8th May, 2020), the Birth Anniversary of Kavi Guru Rabindranath Tagore was observed by President Nimai Chandra Banerjee of Surangana Sankritik Sangstha at his home at Dollygunj, Port Blair.
Due to COVID-19 and Lockdown Surangana Sankritik Sangstha could not gather others members, who cherish Gurudev.
“To mark this day, President of Surangana Sankritik Sangstha lighted a lamp in front of Kavi Guru’s Portrait. Solo song was presented by Rina Banerjee. Group song was performed by Priyanka Banerjee and Rina Banerjee while Priyanshu Banerjee recited poems of Kavi Guru Rabindranath Tagore.
