Port Blair, Sept 17: The Hindi week celebration by the socio-cultural organization Chetana concludes tomorrow with the function at JNRM, Port Blair. In the concluding ceremony, the Secretary to the Lt Governor and Secretary of Information, Publicity and Tourism, Satish Mathur will be the Chief guest, while Andaman Nicobar state Cooperative Union President, Kuldeep Rai Sharma will be the guest of honour. The principal of JNRM, Dr Iqbal Ahmad will preside over the programme.
During the week, various programmes and competitions were organised for the college students to promote and popularize the use of official language Hindi at all levels. Chetana already announced the winners of these competitions. The Chief Guest, Satish Mathur will distribute the prizes along with certificates to the winners of these Hindi competitions.
