Port Blair, May 04: In this critical moment, to fight against COVID-19 pandemic and in view of expansion of another two weeks of lockdown in these Island as well. The volunteers of Sant Nirankari Mandal, branch Port Blair with the slogan of “MANAV KO MANAV HO PYARA, EK DUJE KA BANE SAHARA” continues to provide Packets of Dry Rations to the migrant workers and villagers in Wandoor Gram Panchayat and at many places of South Andaman District.
Total 120 relief packets were distributed on 01.05.2020 & 02.05.2020, which contain Rice, Atta, Edible Oil, Dal, Turmeric Powder and Salt. During the distribution of relief packets, the safety standards issued by the government were kept in full consideration; the hands of all the people were sanitized and social distancing was also made aware. According to the Sector In-charge, Sector No.13, Port Blair, the campaign to serve the needy families will continue further.
