Port Blair, May 03: The difficulties of students of not having required study materials for the studies due to the lockdown has been brought up by the Member, UT Commission for protection of Child Rights, Mrs. Sampa Banerjee.
In a letter addressed to the District Commissioner, South Andaman, Mrs. Sampa stated that by the efforts of the administration, Digital classes for class 6th to 12th has been started but due to improper study materials, they are unable to utilize the session productively.
“Considering Book Stores on par with essential commodities allow Book Sellers to function by strictly adhering norms of social distancing and other guidelines of COVID-19,” urged Mrs. Banerjee.
