Port Blair, Apr 30: Remote Islands of Nicobar District are not having proper Internet connections, most of the families don’t have laptops or computers, even in some remote areas there is no cable network also, so it is a challenging task to provide study materials to the students via internet or cable.
But the Assistant Commissioner Nancowry Mr. Prateek Raj made this possible with simple way to solve this huge problem of delivering the study materials. He made arrangements to record the classes or sessions of NCERT Books in mobile and this study materials were distribute through shopkeepers, fisherman, teachers by using Shareit and pendrive to the students as everyone one has Smartphone so it’s easy for students to study using their smart-phones.
