Port Blair, Apr 28: Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President-BJP, A & N Islands held a telephonic conversation with Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, the Minister of Communication, Electronics & Information Technology on 22nd April, 2020 and discussed the issue of operationalizing the underwater Optical Fiber Cable (CANI Project) immediately in A & N Islands & pointed out its urgent requirements in the current situation. The Minister had assured him that he will look into the issue and the issues raised would be positively considered, at the earliest.
